More than 70 facilities and numerous ambulatory services, seven fields of work, more than 30 locations, 6,200 employees: the Ev. Johanneswerk is not only a big provider of the Diakonie, the German social welfare organisation of the Protestant church, but a modern employer offering manifold possibilities as well.

The Johanneswerk attaches great importance to apprenticeship, qualification and further education: you will be trained at a big professional provider in different qualified jobs. Furthermore, our Johanneswerk Year offers the possibility to do a Voluntary Year of Social or Diaconal Service or the Federal Voluntary Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst). During internships – for example social internships – pupils can get a first insight into the Johanneswerk. In addition, we offer internships for students, job starters and others, as well as a voluntary year of diaconal service abroad.

We welcome people who would like to do volunteer work.
